The "Prob" is that somebody will use the tech for bad purposes. Maybe we need to outlaw any of this tech from ever being used to harm humanity....oh wait, why does that sound familiar...oh, well, I think that was Terminator as well.
I can envision focused EMP weapons, so they're probably already in development for military responses to robots. That, and internal shut down devices, which will eventually be hacked.
In the end, it will be back to humans against humans, and the usual blood and guts.
I saw this robot in action the other day, and I was like, holy crap, how can they do something that advance? Wow, that makes the Jetson's maid Rosie look pretty old school.
