There Seems To Be A Lot Of Strange Things About This Shooting....

From the National Review,

Based on the Early Reports, the Las Vegas Shooting Is Very, Very Strange

Before I begin, let me clearly state two things. First, as I note in the title of this post, my observations are based on early reports, and early reports are often wrong. Second, do not read this post as implying any sort of conspiracy theory of any kind. I’m merely noting the facts as we currently understand them — and how they differ from recent mass shootings.
As virtually everyone has noted from the abundant video footage of the incident, it certainly sounds as if the shooter used either fully-automatic weapons or semi-automatic weapons modified (through, for example, a bump fire stock) to closely simulate automatic fire. Moreover, the police are reporting that he had “more than 10 rifles.” He apparently rented his corner room for days and may have even set up cameras to detect when police were approaching. That’s all strange enough, but it’s even more unusual when you consider that his own family apparently didn’t know that he maintained a stockpile of guns. Here’s this, from the gunman’s brother, suggesting that the gunman wasn’t an avid gun guy at all:

I will add.. There must be video security surveillance of the hotel and the floor he was on.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, comes to light on that.

  1. I saw a video of a man, and woman, that look like the shooter and his lady friend. They were holding signs at an anti-Trump rally, which adds some new speculation to the scenario.

Personally, I think the guy was a gambler, in over his head, and those pulling his strings insured he'd tell no tales. He made the perfect fall guy, and somebody wanting to hurt big money in Vegas showed they can.

  2. What are the odds of a NON shooter controlling the muzzle of a full auto gun well enough to even stay within the crowd? Some of the burst were pretty long. At 300 yards that is not easy to do for someone that's never practiced. A LOT.

  3. I smell George Soros false flag operation........

  4. Here's some more puzzlers for you:
    1) If he had 10+ rifles, why the long pauses to reload? Why not just switch guns, which is much faster?
    2) The reloading pauses are very long, why is that? It doesn't take that long to switch mags, so what was going on?
    3) What was wrong with these people in the video? Why are they staying out in the open, especially with the long reloading pauses? If I'm in the 4th row and this happens, my ass would levitate onto the stage and out the back during the mag change. So are they all too drunk to move, or just stupid?

    1. Dan Bilzerian was there and he's swearing up a down it was a belt fed gun which would explain the pauses in between volleys. New yardage estimates from local PD have the crowd at between 500 meters and out. That's a reach for a 7.62 by 39, even elevated. So how'd he get all those guns up there and even more interesting is how'd he get all that ammo up there. If you listen to the audio it sure sounds like more than one gun at times. I guess that could be an echo but there's a lot here that doesn't make sense.

    2. bell hop and a nice tip.
