Served with a steamed lobster and a pound of butter and you got yourself a pretty mean plate of surf and turf. ...and some pretty nice antlers to hang on the wall.
A buddy got a moose last year. 1200 pounds. Gave me all sorts of cuts. It lived in corn fields, so the meat was delicious! He said while he was scoping it, it ate 40 cobs of corn in under 10 minutes! Needless to say, the farmer was glad to be rid of it.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like Mackenzie means business and would do the job personally given the chance.

I'd like to try tasting it someday.
DeleteHunting season just opened around here.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone gives me some moose this year, I'll send it to you!
I've never had moose either. I have eaten Elk and what I had was tastier and more tender than beef. I would have never believed it.
