  1. The cop says, "I see you're carrying a weapon. You are not a member of my gang. So I will stop you from going about your business, seize your property, and interrogate you. I will let you go free when I feel better."

    This is thuggery.

  3. They say there is no EX-marine, but only a marine. I think this marine-turned cop is an exception. He is not just an ex-marine but an ex-american.

  4. My question is why is he carrying an unloaded weapon?

    1. The whole point was to make a statement and see how he was to be treated for exercising his right.

As to why he was carrying unloaded, he knew he'd be stopped by police, and they they found a loaded weapon on him, they'd probably escalate the incident, even if it is his right to do so.

    2. I saw it the same way pdwalker. Also, did you notice when the policeman tried to hand the gun back, telling the guy you can go ahead and holster this", etc. The young man tells the cop he would be more comfortable if he (the cop) put it back into the holster. I believe he didn't want to take any chances where he may have been shot.

    3. yep, caught that. Absolutely. All the cop had to do was say "I felt in danger for my life" and execute him.

Fortunately cops never, ever, ever do that.
