Now Let's Get The Heart Rate Up....

  1. I was inspired by bacon this weekend. My wife's also been after me to eat more kale. So I got creative and made a batch of kale mixed with collards & mustard greens, southern style. Rendered out some bacon ends, poured off the fat, zipped up an onion, tossed in the greens and a couple cups of chicken stock . . . .cooked it all down . . . . added a bit of salt. Oooooooooh MAMA. That stuff was GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Gonna have to add this to the active recipe file.
