You want to know what's REALLY amazing? That swath of light in central Texas running southwest to northeast? Just below the two bright spots of San Antonio and Austin that are linked together? All oil wells and drilling rigs. Otherwise it is all empty ranch land and would be dark. That is the Eagle Ford Shale.
