The Siberian Forest Cat has been in Russia for centuries. The cat is an ancient breed that is now believed to be ancestral to all modern long-haired cats, it’s called the King of cats. The cat has similarities with the Norwegian Forest Cat, to which it is likely closely related. It is a natural breed and the national cat of Siberia.
That is one cool looking critter! I'm wanting one too.
ReplyDeleteI want one too!
ReplyDeleteI like having skin on my body more... I think I'll pass. Something tells me they survive because they shred their prey.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cat.
ReplyDeleteI like cats.
Cats can be weird.
That one looks like it would probably bite the shit outta me ...
I like cats but I'm gonna pass on this one. Partly for the same reason Johnnyreb did the other part is because I know there will be stitches involved in owning this one.
ReplyDeleteThat is one big a$$ cat, very fluffy! It would sweat a whole lot in south Texas summer.
ReplyDeleteMaine Coons are kinda close, and probably a LOT easier to get.
ReplyDeleteI had one of these when I was a kid. Not exaggerating when I say all these commenters have no clue what they are saying. These pictures look ominous, but this one just has a LOT of fur. Mine was slightly less fluffy. They are more intelligent than any cat I've ever seen, and friendlier as well. In fact, my siberian made friends with anyone who came to our house, made friends with many dogs in the neighborhood, and every cat we ever brought home (other cats in the neighborhood, though, were not always so lucky, he would beat those guys up all the time if they came too close, except for a couple he was friendly with). He followed me around, played all the time, hunted everything including squirrels, and then would snuggle and purr on your lap for hours if you let him. Best and most beautiful cat in the world, bar none.
