The "Furious Frenchman"* is getting cranky....

20 visits to the Oval office, $535 million in backing from the govt. The president of the company donated $53,000 to the Obama campaign…..Say it isn’t so. There is $535 million of our money gone to the “fat cats” of a green jobs agency. Does any one care? This administration is out of hand. I guess the green in green jobs means cash.

NFL Football Starts Tonight...

Truth be told, I'm not a big fan BUT I will watch the game
instead of SCOAMF's speech, thats for damn sure.

Something To Offend Everyone!

I'd just come out of the shop with a meat and potato pie, large chips, mushy peas & a jumbo sausage. A poor homeless man sat there and said 'I've not eaten for two days.' I told him, 'I wish I had your will power.'

I took my Biology exam last Friday. I was asked to name two things commonly found in cells. Apparently "Blacks" and "Mexicans" were NOT the correct answers.

A fat girl served me in McDonald's at lunch time. She said 'sorry about the wait.' I said, 'Don't worry, you'll find a way to lose it eventually '

I walked past a black kid sitting at a bus stop as I went into the bank. When I came out, he looked at me and said 'Any Change?' I said, 'Nope, you're still black'

Snow in the forecast and the TV weather gal said she was expecting 8 inches tonight. I thought to myself, 'fat chance,' with a face like that!

10 year old Irish boy stands crying at the side of the road. A man passing by asks 'What's wrong, lad?' The boy says 'Me ma died this morning.' 'Oh bejaysus,' The man says, 'Do you want me to call Father O'Riley for you?' The boy replies, 'No tanks mister, sex is the last ting on my mind at the moment.'

Years ago it was suggested that an apple a day kept the doctor away. But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works best!

Japanese scientists have now created a camera with such a fantastic shutter speed that it is now possible to take a photograph of a woman with her mouth closed.

I hate all this terrorist business. I used to love the days when you could look at an unattended bag on a train or bus and think to yourself...'I'm going to take that.'

Man in a hot air balloon is lost over Ireland. He looks down and sees a farmer in the fields and shouts to him Where am I? The Irish farmer looks back up and shouts back. You're in that f__n' basket.

I had a big lead in a trivia competition at a local bar until the last question which I got wrong. The question was, Where do women have the curliest hair? Fiji was the correct answer...hell, how did I know they wanted the name of a country?

Hi All ... Can You Give Me Your Input?

 How does the blog look?

I am adjusting some of the settings and colors to dress things up.Can you let me know

how the blog looks to you?

Thanks!!!

Email Inbox Joke.......

A Priest was about to finish his tour of duty, and was leaving his
Mission in the jungle where he has spent years teaching the natives when
he realized that the one thing he never taught them was how to speak
English.

So he takes the chief for a walk in the forest. He points to a tree and
says to the chief, 'This is a tree.'

The chief looks at the tree and grunts, 'Tree.'

The Priest is pleased with the response. They walk a little further and
he points to a rock and says, 'This is a rock.'

Hearing this, the chief looks and grunts, 'Rock.'

The Priest was really getting enthusiastic about the results when he
hears a rustling in the bushes. As they peek over the top, he sees a
couple of natives in the midst of heavy sexual activity.

The Priest is really flustered and quickly responds, 'Man riding a
bike.'

The chief looks at the couple briefly, pulls out his blowgun and kills
them.

The Priest goes ballistic and yells at the chief that he has spent years
teaching the tribe how to be civilized and be kind to each other, so how
could he kill these people in cold blood that way?

This Was The Highlight of The Debate.....

I came across this clip at Weaselzippers and was happy that someone
had it to post. I cheered and clapped for Newt at this exchange:

Now What....???

SO the CNC machine decides to throw up an alarm this afternoon....

Which obviously shuts down production on that machine until the alarm can be fixed.

After a few phone calls it appears to be a cooling fan on the X and Y axis inverter.

Now mind you it just can't be the one that snaps in on top, it has

to be the one that you have to take apart a bunch of crap to get to.

So I take it apart and clean it then bolt everything back in....cross fingers....

fire it up .. and nothing.  / sad face.

Now get on the phone with Fanuc and order a new one to be shipped red label

for tomorrow a.m.

I have a 100k dollar machine waiting for a 35 dollar fan.......

Oh well the store at the end of the street sells cold beer !

This is One Great Song ......1978 Live

I'm not a huge Eric Clapton fan, but this song is amazing.....

I was sitting at a stoplight yesterday.....

....................... minding my own business, waiting on it to turn green when a carload of young, loud, Muslims shouting anti-American slogans, stopped next to me and cursed and glared. When the light changed, the Muslims shook their fists, hit the gas & darted off ahead of me.

Suddenly, an 18-wheeler shoots thru the intersection and ran directly over their car, crushing it completely!  For several minutes I sat in my car thinking to myself, "Man that could have been me!"

So today, bright & early, I went out and got a job as a truck driver.

WOW.. I haven't seen a drive-in theatre in years....

Frikken UPS....damaged my shipment again............

....and at that moment all was well with everything.....

Thought for the Day...

Some mornings it just doesn't seem worth it to gnaw

If You're NOT Depressed Yet, Go Read This.....

It ties alot of various things that have happened recently together....

It will be interesting to see what the next 12-15 months bring.

A Stroll Down Memory Lane.....

I had to some parts to finish and  I had to catch up on some paper work at the shop today. It was kinda nice out and I felt like I should have been hanging at a cook-out with friends, but oh-well.
I got a little thirsty and headed up to the corner store to grab a few beers, hey its labor day right? Anyway  I was kinda drawn to the Miller High Life. I haven’t had these in awhile and they brought back  some good memories.

Back in 78-79 I worked at McDonalds. Myself and a good friend Mike never really took the job seriously but we had a shitload of fun.  We used to be scheduled for the lunch rush most of the time. He and I could handle it by ourselves with a little beer. I would meet him about a half hour before the shift and we would grab a six of Miller talls. We would pound them down and then go in for our shift. ( Hey we were young and wild in those days) . He and I would handle the whole lunch rush by ourselves and be having a blast. They used to scheduled four kids for the busy time but we used to just make the other two kids wash dishes.

Ah the memories….. I'm smiling as I write this.........

We had a lot of fun back in those days, when life was easier and carefree…….

Not much has changed.......so to speak......

"HERE"

Hobby Modeling turned up to ELEVEN.....

Fred Heim does something that no one in this country does. And he does it as well as anyone could do.

Heim, 68, a woodworker for 58 years, makes exact replicas of popular earthmoving vehicles—a Peterbilt 379 pulling a 26-ft. Hill dump trailer, a Cat D8R and a Rogers 60-ton drop-side goose neck trailer with air suspension, fully functional hydraulics, a Cat 345CL excavator and a radio-controlled Cat 980H wheel loader.
All half size.
Not a miniature, not a shelf model, actual working vehicles with engines, carved out of mahogany, aluminum and plastic and fiberglass, and all to exacting specs 50 percent smaller than the real machines they honor.

Here are some pictures and a video to show you these amazing models..
Take a look at the driver in the cab

This baby is radio controlled

Notice the excavator on a trailer and the 18 wheeler on a trailer

Thats NOT a photoshop

Dale Carnegie

As a Machinist.. I am not Worthy.......(must see!!)

Just WOW... I was doing some random searching and came across this post.

I don't care what you do for a living this is just amazing. IF you are familiar with

machining, I found this comment from the builder to be very telling:

Thanks friends,

almost four year of manual hard work (no CAD, no CNC).
I hope to finish the model before the end of this year.

Bye

Gabriele

I have been in the machining industry for over 35 years and this is IMPRESSIVE!

Here is picture from the forum post as a teaser...........

Go see what he built,  scroll thru the pictures and be as amazed as I was:

NOOOOooooo..no..no...no.............
