It is time for Oktoberfest. Here are some of my favorites.
Below the break is definitely RULE 5 NSFW. Only for the true and hardy adult fest lovers.
Sorry for the light posting. I've been camping since last Tuesday.
The photos below are all "stock" pictures, but this is where I went. It was semi-primitive with no running water or other hook-ups. The middle photo is from an old vintage post card, but it is about where we pitched our tent. The dam, picnic area, and campground were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during The Great Depression. My granddaddy helped build that dam (1934-35???). Anyhow, the weather was great with lows in the 40's in the mornings and mid-70's by noon. A fun time was had by all!

She Peels Back A Lot Of Layers And Shines Light On The Communists Among Us...
Earlier while scrolling twitter looking for news about Trump I stumbled about a long list of tweets regarding BLM and the marxists among us. It's a rabbit hole. Enjoy.
The tweets in the thread reader link below belong to "L". Her website is SomeBitchToldMe.com<<
She describes herself here:
About "L"
So all of this got started sometime in early March during the first few weeks of the Coronavirus lockdowns. At the time, I was working as a financial data analyst and lived a very humdrum life. I paid attention to the news, but not super closely. I supported Donald Trump, but I wasn't super sold on him. Overall, I was a very average person doing very average things. And I was okay with it.
But then I got upset that there wasn't any information available about Covid-19. And then I kept digging, and digging, and digging.... And here we are. They created a monster out of me. And I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Thanks for being here.

I have not had a chance to read any other posts or peruse her site.
Below is just an long, interesting, connect the dots thread. As always, YMMV and FWIW.
It starts off like this:
Holy shit you guys, I'm sorry it has taken so long but I came across
info I needed to verify, and I think I can now. I don't have anything
written out, but I have all the info collected. But I need to tell y'all
right now, because this is huge.
Black Lives Matter was not founded originally by Alicia Garza, Opal
Tometti, and Patrisse Cullors. They became the faces of the movement and
they retroactively created that story around them, but the movement
itself IS a Communist movement.
The first use of the hashtag was not on July 13 like the story has gone
for so long. The first use was on August 20, 2012 by a guy named Marcus
Anthony Hunter. He is a professor of Sociology at UCLA.
For The Woodworkers....
Just wait until the end... 👌😍pic.twitter.com/XYqcysMGhF
