mmmm Bacon...mmmm and scallops...

Oh woe is me.....


It seems the freezer in the garage tripped the ground fault circuit and some of the items on the top started to defrost. One such item was a box of scallops wrapped in BACON!!  


Now I can't let those go bad now can I?


Voila! Dinner for one.....

The  Saturday before labor day is "International Bacon Day"




So I decided to celebrate, :)


This is homegrown, thick sliced ( from my brother in laws pig) that I just cooked on the grill


at work......
