I just finished reading "The Peace War" one of my readers recommended it, I'm sorry I forget who.
It was a good read and I would recommend it if you haven't read it.
Another book that I have lined up is "Variant" that "Larry Correia" recommended.
and low and behold, I just found this one at Sam's Club this morning. I will start this one tonight.

Dead Six Book
I am more than 3/4's of the way through "DEAD SIX" by Larry Correia. and Mike Kupari
It's definately a page turner and hard to put down when it's time to hit the hay.
I'm headed up to try and finish it tonight if I can.
I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed at all...
Catch you at the sunrise :)

RE-Read List From High School..... any input??
I shut off most TV the beginning of last year (because it all SUCKS) and got back into reading. I have chosen some new books as well as books recommended at the various blogs I read.
I enjoy Steven King (his politics SUCK) and books on Paleo Eating and Low Carbing.
I enjoy Fiction, Science Fiction/ Fantasy, American History, Diet and Health.
Some of the titles that I have read recently are, in particular order:
The Dome
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
Unintended Consequences
One Second After
Molon Labe
1776
The Great Bridge
Undaunted Courage, Lewis and Clark
The Dark Tower Series ( Books 1 thru 7 in order)
The Primal Blueprint
7 Deadly Scenarios: A Military Futurist Explores War in the 21st Century
Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto
Anthem
Atlas Shrugged
Starship Troopers
Animal Farm
The Lord of the Flies
1984
Citizens
The Moon is a Harsh Mistress
Day by Day Armeggedon
World War Z
Watership Down
The Fountainhead
Deep Nutrition
Monster Hunter
Monster Hunter Vendetta
The reason for starting this post is that I have been rereading some of the books that I remember from my younger days. I reread the following two great books:
The Stand
Swan Song
and I just finished re-reading:
Fahrenheit 451, which was on my High School reading list. Now that I am older and wiser it was a great book that was hard to put down.
I am planning on getting:
Catch -22
The Catcher in the Rye
To Kill a Mocking Bird
Huckleberry Finn
What books do you guys/gals remember reading that are worth going back to??
