    1. It’s standard practice to pour the break test cylinders as soon as the concrete truck backs up to pour. Then the Hispanic crews water the crap out of it to make it flow.
      5000 psi becomes 3000 psi.
You’re soon going to see this in concrete constructed buildings as well.

  3. building residential on top of office space seems problematic in that there is so much more material and weight with residential construction, the office space is just that space designed to support space, not denser materials. just think of all the extra plumbing and electrical for instance. MO only.

  4. I would imagine that the beams that collapsed were only meant to hold up the three floors above it, not twenty-five.
Probably why in the previous expansion, the old section was left at 33 floors - because it wasn't designed to support anything bigger than that.
Any bets the "Engineer" that approved this shit is a DEI hire?

  5. Photoshop use to be truly amazing. This psyop is to observe all the negative comments about Pfizermectin.

In truth that is what’s called the injection site, God bent that thang for our entertainment.

  6. unfortunately for this guy all of the biologists and epidemiologists from the Covid years have now now become structural engineers who can tell us all that we have no idea what we're talking about and how all of this is somehow Trumps fault.

  7. What they have to is go back to the original engineering drawings and calculations to see what were the design limits of original building. A blind man can see that they either did not do that or more likely the building was not built to specification. You are supposed to both test and check the structural components. No matter the lawyers will be enriched.

    1. This x1000. A similar peeve of mine is people ignoring load zoned bridges - it's a dangerous lottery.

    2. Having been in the structural engineering field, I've seen a lot of the older engineers kept their calculations just long enough for the statute of limitations to run out, then they threw them out. Paper takes up a lot of room. Not sure of the age of the building but this might have been the case.

  8. Frikken Hilarious. Idiots just decided they could just stack more structure on top and then run floors out to the side with FukkALL for support, completely Fail to integrate the new with the old AND completely change the expectations of the number of pounds/square feet it's supposed to support.. Find out who put the Stamp of Approval on That construction. Then look at their checking account.

  9. Incompetency everywhere.
Let's just slap some more floors on top of a previous structure and not even bother to see if it can take the load. See if it'll work. No worries, we're PROFESSIONAL Engineers, don'cha know!
