Had a VERY localized storm dump 2 inches of rain in about 2 hours in the area around my house and the Charleston International Airport. We definitely needed it.
Nothing like letting mother nature wash away the shit that stuck to you. Some days it's the best thing that happens, and you feel refreshed. Other times, it really just fucks up your day.
Yeah that was a quick monsoon in the Upper Valley this A.M., hit about 5 in the morning. Not as severe as the line of thunder boomers that hit two nights ago tho…we had some sort of microburst wind event that blew rain into the kitchen over ten feet from the covered front porch (door was open). The entire side of the house was hit like a pressure washer..
