Oh Gawd I hated that song. But i got myself a van anyway. nothin fancy, painted black inside and out with an old mattress thrown in the back. the pump style keg tap is what made me the king of the weekend lake parties.
Worked in a custom van shop in high school. Paneling, shag carpeting, captains chairs, fold down couch/bed, bubble windows, sunroof, stereo/speakers, running boards, wheels/tires, and paint/pinstripes. Every one was different, but they were amazingly similar. Probably worked on a hundred of them.
I love it. Would definitely buy it. Would not shine a UV or blacklight in the back section

DeleteI remember seeing a display of vans like this in a mall in NJ back in the 70's.To an early adolescent boy, they looked like heaven on wheels.
