These Guys Nail This Cover Of A One Hit Wonder. 🎶🎶

  1. Leonid and Friends may be the best cover band in the last 20 years. Their cover of old Chicago songs like "25 or 6 2 4" are so good that the biggest differences I can find are small differences in the tones of the singers' voices.

    1. "I'm a Man" was their next one up on Yoot-toob and it was smokin':

Hmm. I wonder if they covered South California Purples?

  3. I absolutely love these guys, especially when Ksenya is featured. But seriously these guys are some tough musicians. They make all the old hits sound effortless.

  4. Crikey, I love this place and most of your opinions, but your taste in music? No, no, never.

  5. They tour the US on a regular basis. If you have the chance to see them live I highly recommend you do.

  6. If you get a chance to do a meet and greet, do it. Wife and I did in Virginia a few years back. Of course, Ksenia will do the translating (and not that hard since she speaks several languages and she's a smokin' hottie even my wife would let us bring home) but they are very happy to be doing what they do. I have a bass guitar signed by the entire band hanging on my wall. Leonid's eyes when I asked him if he would sign it, well, that alone was the best part. They love what they do, and do what they love.

  7. I saw them in Colorado about six years ago, one of the best concerts I've ever attended. The musicianship is off the charts. I don't see the female lead in that clip, she's a fantastic vocalist and smoking hot.

  8. I'd much rather listen to this on my crappy little cellphone than anything the grammy crowd puts out using the latest and greatest sound systems.

  9. Lighthouse was hardly a 1 hit wonder. Pretty lady, Sunny days, Hats off to the stranger as well as One fine morning.
I liked em better than Chicago.

  10. I didn't see anyone mention it, but the one hit wonder was Lighthouse. I think that Leonid and Friends are every bit as good as Chicago, and I would go to see them before Chicago.

  11. I stumbled over these guys almost ten years ago and have followed them ever since. The are true musicians in every sense and everything they do is A1.
