That was awesome I had or played with all of the. I forgot about Merlin. I was a boss with the clackers. Monaco Gp was my favorite game. Pong and space invaders. And a football ⚽️ game game that made almost no sense
My family had that football game. We'd get it out, set it up and watch it do its spasms for a minute or so and then put it away. There wasn't any point to it other than the novelty.
Susan Ciani - you've heard her(maybe not above), you just don't know it yet. Awesome lady the old guy that got my Ariens running again hat tipped me about. I meant good guy. Thanks, Paul.
Best thing about those old phones were, no sound limiters. Someone was making heavy breathing noises when they called my sister. She got a call one night, I grabbed the handset, held it out the kitchen window and fired a .45 off beside the mouthpiece. Calls ended. fjf0351
That was cool. A few others offhand would be the analog counter on gasoline pumps, service station alarm bells, television channel knob being turned, the sound of a cigarette lighter popping out, an analog alarm clock rolling it's numbers, "Let me get that honey. You know good and well that's women's work.", etc.
