I call bullshit about black sailors being bullied by whites. I spent 4 years in the Navy from '65 through '69 and never saw any black sailor getting bullied. We were all color blind. I shared a room with 2 black guys in NAS Key West and the same at NAVCOMMSTA Greece. The only time people were bullied, white or black, is if they were fuckups. If that black sailor was getting picked on it wasn't because he was black, it was because he didn't do what was required of him.
I observed much the same during my Navy tour '64 to '68. The black people I served with wouldn't recognize the entitled racist behavior of black people that is observed and portrayed in the media these days.
