Irish, I want to see that old machine running, please follow on if possible.
ReplyDeleteQuestion, aren’t you a project manager?
Answer to your question, yes. Shhhhhh......
DeleteWhat’s Ceaser doing over in the UK driving in the snow like a wild man?
DeleteToonces is a maniac behind the wheel.

Meanwhile, in a game closely mirroring our weather outside, PATS win, onto da Supahbowl!
ReplyDeleteYeah we’re gonna get over a foot up heah in the Upper Valley, whatever. Plenty of meat&beer stockpiled, along with “other things”.
Good luck down there in th’Seacoast there, Irish!

Donkies blew it toward the end of the first quarter. Hard call for coach, though. I'd have taken the field goal and let the QB stew on the bench, motivating him to do better his next series. Laughed my ass off a couple weeks ago when sportscaster claimed coach was really good at time management. When he threw the red flag today even the ladies all knew he'd lose, which he did. Could've used that lost time out in Q4. We had the swirling snow about 30 minutes before it hit Mile High. A couple hours later it was gone, nice and calm. Gonna be around 50F on Tuesday with lots of sunshine. Every 5 years or so the weather in Denver is better than at the Super Bowl venue-but never very predictable. When your team drops more passes than it catches they you ain't gonna win. Just ask Andy Reid.
DeletePrayin' for another Malcom Butler moment!

I hope the guy with the flamethrower melted a path to the nearest storm drain. If not, he's going to end up with a sheet of ice at the bottom of his driveway.
ReplyDeleteUncle Frank used to sell machine tool bits for Morse Twist Drill down in New Bedford. When he passed (drank far too much beer watching the Red Sox every weekend) I came on to a huge stash of all kinds of bits in his basement-many were specials and some still puzzle me as to what they were intended for. I'll bet he'd have a story about every one of 'em.
ReplyDeleteGood morning all y'all.
ReplyDeleteI don't have time to review all the excellent clips just now, but #2 with the milling machine is a summary of where we (they?) went the fuck off the fucking rails.
Dammit.
And the soundtrack will haunt me all day. Who is that artist if anyone can help, please?
Dan, the song is called “Motel 6” performed by River Whyless. The album is Kindness, A Rebel & it’s about $13 on the ‘Zon.
DeleteTypical SNOWMAGEDDON as of late.
ReplyDeleteSchools closed.
Wife's employer called off yesterday, as did mine.
Then have it fizzle out and end up with diddly-shit.
I made my first push of snow at 9pm Sunday. Only had about 6 - 8 inches with minimal drifting.
Got up early this morning, to plow for the wife, and there was only about 1 1/2" in my wheel tracks.
Radar shows nothing really happened after 1am. On top of that it looks like the storm has fractured into two parts with the southern part heading out to sea.
What a nothing burger of a storm. I was promised 18 - 24 inches of snow, DAMMIT!
(sad plow truck guy noises....)
