Porch Pirates: Best Of The Week

Some of the reactions defy logic such as the guy yelling into the doorbell camera "I'm calling the cops!", etc. They ought to use the "good stuff" in the packages and the stealing will slow down if not stop all together.

  1. As fun as those are, I suspect they are all AI. The “smoke”doesn’t clear like it should and as you pointed out people’s reactions don’t really make any sense. Besides if they were real some liberal DA would be prosecuting the person leaving the package outside for the porch pirate.

  2. While immensely entertaining, I wonder how the homeowner can defend themselves in court, criminal or civil

  3. I like the delay so it gets all over their "luxury" car's interior. I like Karma. Jeff C in NC

  4. I could watch that all day. Seeing slime get a small taste of what they have already dished out is very satisfying.

  5. Amusing but scary. The total lack of embarrassment in getting caught STEALING and the RAGE you dared to Bust them.

Not a huge jump from a crazy (immoral thief) man cursing into your camera to tossing a liter of flaming but mostly peaceful (per CNN) gasoline onto your porch.

  8. I noticed yesterday that Amazon is selling boxes of brightly colored corn starch powder for marking things and back yard pyrotechnic displays. The colors match the video, so now i see why people would want 10 pounds of it. Its supposed to be non staining.

  9. Porch theft, people just do not learn. Ring doorbells record, cameras record, these people who steal and them call the cops are stupid people because then they are admitting they are thieves, just do not understand they admitted to stealing when doing so.

  10. Almost everything on YouTube is fake. It is all theater either to get clicks OR to change political beliefs. These, the porch pirate videos, are at least funny theater.

A bunch of computer generate horsepucky. The explosions would be very dangerous, some of them are paint not dust which would stain the home, lots of these show very huge obese people so it's funnier. Fun, but totally unreal.

  13. Thieves, just thieves... Seize the vehicle, 30 days in the county lockup and a fine plus publicizing what happened would go a long ways towards slowing this type of theft.

  14. Real or AI, the next step should be the paint powder + CS/tear gas to deter porch pirates. hehehehehe
As for the "liability", if you don't steal the package, you don't set off the booby trap.
Totally 100% the porch pirate's fault, not the homeowner.

  16. I've seen a couple full of shit instead of paint, now that's funny.
I figure the vast majority are fake, why would you want to spray paint all over the front of your house?
Plus, if the explosion is too big, as determined by people who can't get out of jury duty, you get charged.
