Radio Talk Show Host Larry Elder: Accused Birmingham Serial Killer Would Get More Attention If He Were White

Is there racial bias in the media? I say it depends on who is being asked. I think there is media bias in most things I like or support but that is my opinion. I am not sure why this story is being kept on "the down low", but I do know I live in that broadcast area and the local stations are as quiet about this character as the MSM. I would think a story this big would be like "Son of Sam", John Wayne Gacy, The Zodiac, etc., for the MSM but it isn't. Mr. McDaniel is black. The killings he is accused of do not fit the description of serial killer crimes. Still, I would think a man accused of this many killings surely would command enough notoriety to be in the evenings headlines. Especially, with an upcoming trial. I am glad Larry Elder is drawing attention to this lack of news coverage. Mr. McDaniel is accused of murdering 18 people ( Google him/multiple heinous crimes) in the Birmingham, Alabama area in a 24 month time span 2024/2025. I would not refer to him as a serial killer. I suppose he could fall into the category of "gangbanger" with a high body count (upon conviction), but him as a bona fide Ted Bundy,,,,, not so much. Story
