Oh, how true. Just another joy of old age, stress/anxiety, and environment (air, water, food). Be relieved you are not a teenager trying to figure life out on good old planet earth. Maybe Elon is on to something?
I have found essential oils like lavender, eucalyptus, clary sage, to name a few, help me relax the brain and turn off the nag. Plus there isn't shit you can do about the past except learn from it. YMMV but it works for me and I get 7-9 hrs almost every night. maxx
Too many times lately, I can be falling asleep in front of the computer, but as soon as my head hits the pillow my brain starts cranking in overdrive and won't SHUT UP! Sometimes doing laps up and down the hall will help. At least it quiets the leg twitches.

Been my curse for several years now. If you find a cure you could get rich selling it.
ReplyDeleteThis is why old men get grouchy. No sleep and reminded of all the things he should've done differently.

ReplyDeleteSometimes, things can be resolved by remembering It’s a Life lesson, not a Life sentence.
