If you view the Dieselpunk animated movie "Metropius" on You Tube, you will find these Brennan Monorails! Until I saw this documentary, I thought they were just imaginary.

So the Concorde was faster than the SR-71? NO
Not hardly - it didn't have the skin to withstand Mach 3+. Among other things.
