Christmas Eve 2024

Well, here we are closing in on the end of another year. I wanted to wish each and every

one of  you a Very Merry Christmas.

As noted before, things have been busy so a little time off from the blog has been required.

Not that I haven't lurked a bit, just not feeling it for now.

Hopefully, things will loosen up and I can get back to work on moving to a self host and

new blogging software.  Thanks to all that offered to assist.

When I'm ready, I will raise the flag.

Be safe, stay away from big cities and crowds, pay attention and don't let your guard down.

Again, Merry Christmas one and all.

Sláinte

Irish,

  11. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours, Irish. Congratulations and thank you for another years blog.
Looking at the state of things in our relative countries, I'm beginning to wonder if Santa didn't fulfill my daughters wish for a zombie apocalypse after all (aged 5, I failed as a parent very quickly)!

Best wishes for the new year, bud.

  18. A sincere wish for calm, peace, and happiness from today forward; Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Great site, very good community of hooligans and patriots, and contact with other sites as well.
Christmas kicks my ass every year - the difference between how we are and how we could be is brought to focus beginning around Thanksgiving and gets worse daily until just after Christmas. Contact with bright minds and sharp wit is excellent therapy; thanks to all who participate.
    Merry Christmas.

  38. I was a pretty good boy this year, considering...
I got the first pic under my tree, but Santa skipped the 2nd for some reason.
Wonder if Mrs. Sedition had anything to do with it...

  39. Looks like that tree had real tinsel -- the stuff was made from lead sheets. The later plastic stuff never hung as well as the real lead. I was not allowed to decorate out tree as a kid, not because of any danger, but I just was not permitted by my older sisters, due to my lack of skill and taste.
    . Oh the humanity!
