  2. Scandinavia has a jones for the blues that I wasn't aware of until recently, and the bands I've heard do a bang-up job. Then there's these guys...

  3. I’ve always considered Robin Trower’s Bridge of Sighs album a top five rock album.
Maybe right behind Hawkwind’s Space Ritual.
And one main reason was James Dewar’s voice, his singing. (RIP)
So over the years I’ve seen Trower live many times and he’s NEVER had a singer with the gravelly voice anywhere near Dewar’s.
    I’ve always been so disappointed.
    This dude has the voice.
And the guitar seems up to Trower standards.
    A very good remake. Excellent.

  4. Well done cover. Really enjoyed that one. Thanks for the tip on Opeth. Btw, new header is very cool this week. After a month off, I'm back to the salt mine this morning. Must think happy thoughts...or play BoS again. Ohio Guy

  5. You had me fooled there for a minute. I have all 13 Opeth officially released CDs and this ain't on any. Then I checked online and this is from the "Special" releas3e of Watershed from 2008. But that sure as hell doesn't sound like Mikael Akerfeldt singing.

  6. Same thing here Sheik. I checked my copy of Watershed and it ain't on there. For those that don't know, Opeth is the shit.

  9. Very nice, I can zone out on this version of the psychedelic blues. I've listened to Robin Trower play this many times, and while these guys are good, the guitarist doesn't come to the level of the master.
