  2. That is an armored truck, not an "Armed" truck. It has no .50 cal. The people inside it are just people once they get out of it. And those things are terrible off-road. (I had 2 of them in Iraq).

  4. My friends Up North don't have any firearms. They were lost in a freak canoe accident.

    1. Wow! That's odd. That happened to me too.

  5. We are not passive surrender monkeys like you canucks. We have already discussed how to disable those. All in all we American crackers are of firmer stuff and we kicked your ass before...

    1. Firmer stuff indeed, but the last few times we played guns with Canada they mostly won. Sure, battle of New Orleans after the 1812 war was actually over, but nobody knows if or how many Canadians were in the British forces there. Battle of Thames we won, with a 4:1 advantage in troops, but half the British/Canadian force was Shawnee Indians. A bit one sided I'd say.

We didn't do very good in Quebec when we invaded there in 1775 either. Mostly because our guys were exhausted, sick with smallpox, and poorly equipped.

So I'd call it a draw. But I do feel bad for what Canadians are going through now, and I feel worse that so many of them are benighted enough to believe it's all for the best.

    2. Not with Canuckistan, but with Her Britannic Majesty's Army. And, if you think the Shawnees were formidable, a certain D Boone and the good folk of Boonesborough had them for lunch. Matter of fact OH, IL, IN and NY are states because the Limeys and their savage allies had their collective heads handed to them thanks to the likes of John Sullivan and George Rogers Clark.

As late as the 1880s, the Canucks needed the Limeys. The name Garnet Wolseley ring a bell?

We didn't do very good in Quebec when we invaded there in 1775 either.

More like the Frawgs didn't want to be free, "Why are the roads in France lined with trees?".

  6. As a Canadian my 2 cents.

Our current gun control push is total BS. We had a mass shooting out east earlier this year, 22 people died. A madman spent 18hrs driving around in an RCMP cruiser while dressed as an RCMP. He would stop and shoot specific people and go to homes shoot people then light the house on fire.

The RCMP knew he was dressed as one of them but didn't inform the public of that till it was over, so people open their doors to him because they thought he was a real cop.
It took the RCMP 16 hrs to bother to warn the public it was happening and another 2 hrs after that to stop him.

    The investigation stinks.
The RCMP claim he bought a police model car from Ford. Ford said BS they only sell it to police forces and asked for the vin so they could find out who it was sold too. The RCMP then claimed built his own car by modifying a regular cars body shape to match a cruiser and painted it and custom made his own decals all in his 2 car garage. The guy made dentures for a living.

They also claim he hand sewed his own uniform.

The shooter was already banned from owning guns because of a previous domestic incident with his ex-girlfriend so his guns were illegally aquired.

Then it gets weird, turns out a week before the shooting he took 475k out of a financial depot... not a bank. No person can do that, only banks can pull money from a depot... except that is how the rcmp get money to undercover rcmp. The RCMP now claim they have no idea how he managed to get cash from one of their accounts.

  7. I can show you 25 ways to take out this thing in a moment and turn it into a piece of smoldering wreckage. All I need is a few minutes of preparation time, some items readily available in every normal household and perhaps a little help from my friends (because I am old and my arthritic hands do not wield a shovel or a spade so well anymore).
So do not ever insult me anymore. So do not ever threaten me again. It will not bode well for you once I pull your carcass from the smoking remains of your mechanical behemoth.

  8. Has it ever occurred to this ignorant canoehead (sorry for the repeat) that 1 guy with a FMJ round can take these out? We know how they are put together, we know how they can be taken apart.
Plus, the people driving and operating the equipment are most likely patriots... and all that entails...

    1. Well, at the very least those tires seem to be pretty easy to destroy. Even run flats don't do so well after they've been on fire.

  12. have you ever seen what 55 gallon drum of oil and diesel will do to most any vehicle it needs oxygen to run

  13. So Mr. no guns in canada pussy, you going to live in that vehicle? No so fucking smart are you. I'll wager that you personally will never try to take anyone's weapon.

  14. Are those rubber tire's? The radiator doesn't look too protected.

    1. I've looked those for vulnerabilities before.... Beside the crew (who have to get out out at some point) three is the radiator, and several coolers...oil, trans, differential, etc. Plus the fuel tanks are not well protected from either the side or the bottom.

    1. Neither have I, as the military rejected me for medical reasons, but I do have a friend who works in the same office park who happens to be a retired Green Beret who probably knows millions of ways to make one of these a deathtrap.

  16. Het Sunshine. The RCMP were saddled with those POS because the military didn't want them. Why would the Canadian Armed Forces refuse ANY equipment when the Trudeau is busy strangling them out of everything? Think about it. The boys would be safer in a Brinks truck and I'm certain at least the older members wouldn't bother with the law abiding citizens.

  17. Saw a guy with a nice 12lb Napoleon fire a saboted dart that went through an old APC. He then holed it with just general round shot.

What stops a bullet won't stop a black powder cannon.

Then there's the friend who knows a guy who has a working 8.8cm Flak 36. Solid shots only, of course...

And with enough molotovs, even the best AFV is gonna have issues, let alone the uparmored truck. Kill the engine, then just let it sit.

  18. Smart people don't go head to head with the government's badgemonkeys. They find the people the badgemonkeys care about and go after them. It's called asymmetrical warfare. It has no rules and EVERYBODY is fair game.

    1. target innocent people and you are no better than them. we lose the moral high ground, and they get to show the world we are the monsters they tell everyone we are.

      http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-brief-three-percent-catechism.html

The other moral absolute that you sign on to when you become a Three Percenter is no targeting of innocents. We call this "No Oklahoma City bombings." And this includes the innocents who make up the non-combatants on the enemy's side. If you claim to fight monsters, it is important not to become one yourself. They target innocents in retributive terror operations like Waco, we do not. We are also criticized by some for this "weakness." It is, rather, not only a strength but our greatest strength. It is what defines us as defenders of liberty and the people. It is also what the tyrants most fear -- if innocents are taken off the target list, only the guilty remain. And the one thing the war-makers and decision-takers of tyranny fear is a Fourth Generation civil war targeted solely and precisely at THEIR miserable existence. It is the only thing they cherish, the only real thing they believe in -- their own existence and the power that existence gives them to feed their hunger off other people's liberty, property and lives. If the order-givers start to disappear, through death or desertion, the orders do NOT get given. With no Eichmanns to make up the schedules, no cattle cars depart to the East for "Arbeit Macht Frei." This strategy also takes advantage of our greatest strength -- our rifle marksmanship. The accurate rifle in the handle of a trained marksman is our "precision guided munition." Millions of such rifles, properly targeted, by people with the will to use them, amounts to utter defeat for any would-be tyranny, and death for any would-be tyrant.

  19. They will get some of us but then end up being burned to death inside, that is why God made gasoline, ton's of semi-tractors out there for ramming and falling tree's for trapping. Govt people, expect zero f#cking mercy if you send these at American folks. This won't be forgiven, period. We will not just get the people in the vehicle, we will get those who sent them and on up the chain. If you target our families we will target yours. We are watching.

  29. So let me get this straight ... the argument that you should be disarmed and unable to defend yourself is that your government is borderline psychopathically genocidal/homicidal and would be able to outgun you while it commits what are essentially war crimes? Huh! That's a special kind of logic there.

  30. Way back in the early 2000s when Project Appleseed was just getting started in the pages of Shotgun News, the fun-practice targets included in the original mail packets portrayed vehicles like that, with vulnerable points labeled. Vision ports, antenna mounts, transfer cases on axles, brake cylinders, and of course anyone who sticks his head out of a hatch. A man who *knows* how to use a rifle *can* defeat these.

In the early 2000s, when Project Appleseed was just getting started in the pages of Shotgun News, the fun-practice targets included in the mail packet showed vehicles like these, with vulnerable points labeled: vision blocks (spares on board but a finite number), antenna mounts (no comms, no support), transfer cases on axles, brake cylinders (can't move or don't dare move), and of course anyone who sticks his head out of a hatch. Someone who *knows* how to use a rifle *can* defeat these.
