This is just another example of commies chipping away at culture/history/identity a little at at time.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Some people in Arab are upset after the school superintendent said the marching band can't play the song 'Dixie' anymore. With burgers on the grill, Larry Turner is eager to greet some of his Arab high school classmates from 1988. "We're so old," Turner said with a laugh. They picked a good night to come back. Fans are donning blue to cheer on the Knights for their first game on their brand new field.

You say 'A-rab'. The founders paid a painter to paint 'Arad' on the water tower after the founders son's name but the guy got it wrong and painted Arab. The mayor said screw it lets call it A-rab.

DeleteSadly, my high school changed many years ago. We were the "Rebels" and our fight song was Dixie. It changed as the demographics changed in that part of Dallas. They are now the "Patriots" and probably have little to no understanding what that word really means.
