Wow.. that is crazy Exile. I can't image that on a constant basic. We have had the windchill hit negative lows in that range but for short periods only.
I work shifts ata site north of Fort Mac. In 2013 we had 4 days of temps where windchill kept it below -60C. That is cold.
I walked a half mile today becauae the mother in law locked keys in the vehicle. That was alittle more than i had planned on and i would have put on snow pants if i had known.
We are still sitting about -28C at the homestead which is -19F.

Here, some really brutal weather. I don't know how we'll survive it.

It's going to get almost 60F here today on the usually soggy Oregon coast. The sharks dying of cold is so much BS. Trust me, I'm a marine biologist.
ReplyDeleteYes I called bs too. It washed up then froze
DeleteIt got all the way up to -5 here at the farm, today.

Global warming??
ReplyDeleteWhy do you people still live up there ?
ReplyDeleteCry me a glacier, it's minus 28 degrees Fahrenheit outside my house here in Calgary Canuckiland and I'm tired of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna kill the next idiot who assures me a dry cold is quite comfortable.
And Sarge is right, why the hell do I live here? In the winter? Why don't I do what snowbirds normally do? I must be an idiot.
I am waiting to see if you make an appearance later this morning Irish.
ReplyDeleteThat kind of cold is where everything freezes solid man.
Best of luck and keep your head and your hands covered dude.
