This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. For a car with a manual transmission, put the key on the "on " position, put it in neutral, push the car until it is going about 5 MPH, jump in, put it in second gear and let go of the clutch to engage the engine.
If you listen carefully, he states if your car is not in position to "roll or push off". Still, I don't see me or anyone I know doing this. It would be much easier to call a friend with a set of "jumper cables". Is this the Anonymous "spellchecker"?
Most cars, since about the 90's need over about 10volts in the battery to run ECU and fuel management systems, if you are below that getting it started without jumper cables is going to be a he'll of a feat.
