    1. While it is not necessarily the longest or heaviest, I think it is the oddest gator I've ever seen. We don't have them right here where I live, but they can be found in the Tennessee Valley thirty-five miles north and two counties to the south. A few years ago, some guys from my hometown caught the state record down in south Alabama, but this one behemoth trumped it. It was a beast!

  2. Except for three years in Germany I've lived in Florida since the day Elvis died.
    I have shot Alligators, Run over their tails, threw the little ones back into the creek.
    I used to live about 20 miles from Lakeland in a little town called Lithia.
    they were all over the place .... but I never saw one that massive. That thing could
    eat one of your kids in one bite !

  3. That guy is about 4 miles from where I am currently setting. He is big but I have seen considerably larger in the Blue Cypress while Bass fishing. Not impressed, living in Florida all my life.
