Here's Some Cars From One Of The Best Movies Ever Made.....
1963.......
I hadn't seen this movie in years! I caught it last week and watched the whole thing.
Can you name it?

Without checking, I'm gonna guess that it's "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World.

ReplyDeleteI concur, it's a mad mad mad world.
ReplyDeleteThat's the movie alright. Part of my collection
ReplyDeleteFour Mads. I remember a black and white TV interview with Jonathan Winters explaining, as only he could, why three Mads just weren't enough.
ReplyDeleteRight off the bat ..... Mad, Mad, Mad World. Great flick!
ReplyDeleteMad, Mad, Mad World 4sure!
ReplyDeleteThe reason the movie is named "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" is because the producers felt a fifth "Mad" would be redundant.

Too easy!
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe that everyone else got it wrong except Velvet. It is 4, not 3 mads.
He kicked the bucket! (From the scene were Jimmy Durante croaked.)
I got it right away too. I remember watching this at the matinee when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteThe first date I took my future (and still) wife on was this movie, when it was re-released in 1969. Good times!
ReplyDeleteMad 4X world. And no I didn't cheat.
ReplyDeleteSo many great cameos in that movie (and I didn't cheat either).
ReplyDeleteWhat's really astonishing is how close they were to downtown LA for most of the filming.
ReplyDeleteMost of the barren nowhere in the movie is now mile after mile of suburbia now.
I went to the premier at the Murray Theater in Murray Utah. I was 9 years old.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite movies. My dad took me to see in when it first came out. They don't make actors like they use to.
ReplyDeleteI've seen it at least three times. Last time was just a couple of years ago.
