Four Mads. I remember a black and white TV interview with Jonathan Winters explaining, as only he could, why three Mads just weren't enough.

The reason the movie is named "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" is because the producers felt a fifth "Mad" would be redundant.: }

I got it right away too. I remember watching this at the matinee when I was a kid.
The first date I took my future (and still) wife on was this movie, when it was re-released in 1969. Good times!
Mad 4X world. And no I didn't cheat.
So many great cameos in that movie (and I didn't cheat either).
What's really astonishing is how close they were to downtown LA for most of the filming.Most of the barren nowhere in the movie is now mile after mile of suburbia now.
I went to the premier at the Murray Theater in Murray Utah. I was 9 years old.
One of my favorite movies. My dad took me to see in when it first came out. They don't make actors like they use to.
I've seen it at least three times. Last time was just a couple of years ago.
