The Woman Driving This Car Beat The Grim Reaper....

This crash happened yesterday morning:

PEABODY, Mass. (WHDH) -
A serious two-car accident knocked down a power pole and caused traffic trouble in Peabody on Monday.
The crash happened Monday morning around 11:30 a.m. on Route 1 southbound prior to the jug handle.
Route 1 has now reopened on both sides.
Police said a 25-year-old woman driving on Route 1 southbound decided to pull into a car wash and pulled in front of a driver who then hit a utility pole.
The owner of the car wash, Bob Katseff, ran to help the crashed driver after a transformer fell onto the car. He helped her get out of the car to safety.
"She was more panicky than hurt, thank goodness," Katseff said.
Wires were left hanging down over the roadway. Power crews were on scene repairing the damage.
The driver is expected to be okay.

Minor injuries, amazing. It looks like she sheared off the pole and whole thing came down on her car.   Look where that transformer landed....

  1. I hope this deputy went out and played Powerball the moment he got out of the hospital. (Long story short: Motorcycle cop hit from behind by a flatbed truck at an intersection and driven 150 feet through five stopped vehicles and pinned under the last one.)
