Played it many times. Both before and after the redesign. Goose River is a pretty nice 9 hole course in the area, as well asthe Rockland Golf Course is very nice. Not sure how far you are travelling, but if you get the chance to play Belgrade Lakes, that course is fantastic.
I hope any sand you get into is on the beach.
