Many years ago I met a man who was an actor in Henry V. He was in an alley behind the theater mounted on a very large horse waiting to make his entrance. He had on what looked to be a full mail suit. We got to talking and he let me inspect it. Darnest thing, it was actually made of dark grey nylon fiber, about the thickness of a half penny nail, woven to look like rings. The effect was very striking. Now, not as striking as this young lass and her Rings of the Goodalookin', but striking nonetheless!
