...and got an "Awake" tea. Don't ask me why, it was night and I was driving somewhere. When I took a sip it was luke warm and I remembered it was full of caffeine. "You'll never sleep tonight" I said to myself. I pushed the down button for the passenger side window in my truck and went to toss out the teabag. The string got stuck on my finger and the wet bag landed in the passenger seat. Shit!
As I approached the parking lot of my destination the snow banks were piled high and the entrance was full of cars. I took a right and headed down through the larger section of the parking lot. My headlights illuminated the rows of cars and snow banks. When I reached the end of the row I started to turn left to get to the front of the building.
There was a white Mercedes Stretch Limo parked to the right and the front passenger door was open. I was focused on the door to the right and the snow bank to the left since there wasn't much room. All of a sudden there was a figure in front of me. I hit the brakes ( I was only coasting) but still bumped into the figure. He walked off but there were other people milling around. Now I'm thinking insurance claim and all the crap that goes on with that!
I put the truck in park and got out. There was a crowd in front of me and they moved aside as I approached the person I bumped. He was seated in a chair and when I got closer he looked up at me.
This is who it was.................. >LINK<
WTF? I gotta lay off the Guiness and Pickled Eggs for dinner! I was up at 3:38 with that one.
I would also like to thank Chiefnosewetter for leaving that image in my mind.
I still fall for this----When will I learn???
ReplyDeleteCool looking Dude. I hope he doesn't sue you.
ReplyDeleteHaha!
ReplyDeleteI just came across that movie in my stack 3 days ago. I watched it for the first time in years, then lent it to a young guy in his late 20's that had never heard of it. Last time I was at his place, he was watching Blazing saddles, so I asked if he had seen this. Nobody is making funny shit anymore.
Thankfully, Marty has never come to me at night!
Eye-gore !!!!! Gotta love it. One of these days I'll have to tell you the tale of how I met Mel Brooks.
ReplyDeleteAnd before I forget, mega-props for the Memorial Day header. Well done, sir, well done. FWIW, the last members of my family to be in the uniformed services were a couple of my dad's uncles. Note that they wore the uniform of Kaiser Wilhelm, II !!!!!!! They emigrated (LEGALLY) to the US in the early 1920's.
