I stopped at a seaside park south of Monterey many years ago, and the ground squirrels were so bold, they would climb up on the picnic table and try to take your sandwich right out of your hand.
Much like the State of California does to its residents today.
My wife and I still own eighty acres in Northern CA, but we would never return there to live, or even to visit.
Ok where's the rest of the family, out looking for nuts I presume ..........

And yet, with those 80 acres, you pay property taxes to the state of Kalifornication. You still Feed The Beast.
