You might already know this, but Rush isn't in the RRHOF because Jann Wenner -- the publisher of Rolling Stone who basically has the final say on who gets in -- hates prog-rock. (as far as I'm concerned, "Red Barchetta" should've been enough to get them in.) I've heard it said that Wenner more or less uses the RRHOF as a showcase for his favorite acts. I still haven't heard a good explanation as to why the Doobie Brothers & Bad Company aren't in yet, though.
