If I had to guess, the original contract was too expensive to fight, so they're taking the chance the loser/broke crowd will buy their products, instead of stealing them from Walmart. Of course the just screwed up, but that's typical for the college educated ignoramuses running some of these large corporations.
Is Nike going to change their slogan to "Don't Do It"? Makes no sense to feature a guy who took himself out of the NFL, as the face of an ad campaign that suggests people "Do something"... Love the dress btw, maybe he can get work as a cheerleader?
