The "Good ol' Days"..........

  1. So many memories in this set. I fried balogna just this Sunday for the grand daughter, she asked for seconds. I recycled paper bags the same way, I enjoyed wrapping the books, actually. I hated that type mower. I can still feel the schrader valve in my back but that could just be my liver complaining.

  2. The young punks think they came up with all the 'new' ideas themselves. The old ways endure.

  3. I remember cutting my dad's lawn with my grandfather's push mower. We bought out first (and only!) house in 1981. There was an old Sears push mower left in the basement. I cleaned it, oiled it, sharpened the blades and used it for a couple years. They work great as long as you don't let the grass get high. I gotta look. May still have it.

  6. These were great! I actually lol'd (I mean, laughed out loud) at my first computer...refresh, too funny! When I was a kid, I was actually called in from THE OTHER ROOM to change the TV Channel. I've been lurking, reading your blog for a couple of years, good stuff, thanks for the entertainment. Debbie in the Big O
