That show was scandalous back in the day. The first television show to show a female belly button, so the story goes. I miss the 60's and 70's women. Many of my juvenile fantasies were filled with them. Thanks, Irish, for bringing back fond memories.
My goodness, what a collection! She's such a beauty. I remember watching I dream of Jeannie back in the day... she was quite a handful for a young man lol.
We had it good in those days didn't we Jefferey? Quite awhile back by shear luck I caught a scene with Rowdy Yates. Barbara was dressed as a gypsie similar to her genie costume. Made think the last good guy in hollywood came up with the genie idea after seeing that as well.
Clint Eastwood and Larry Hagman probably had a great time on stage with her while filming. I can see her holding her own with men.
I saw the same episode and thought the exact same thing. Barbara also had roles in a few episodes of Gunsmoke. Yes, BCCL, we had it good in those days.
they had a rule: you can't take Jeanies bottle in the bedroom, because that would imply pre marital sex. They never told Larry Hagman about that rule, because they knew he would never think about taking the bottle in there. he heard about it years later on a daytime talk show, when they did a surprise reunion between the two.
Barbara Eden, born Barbara Jean Morehead in Tucson, Arizona, became one of America's most endearing and enduring actresses. ~imdb.com. Yes, that's right; BJ Morehead.
Great! A timeless beauty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
I miss the 70s and all the beautiful women we were tantalized by! Nice find Irish!

DeleteThanks Marty B. It is good to be here. Slowly, but surely I am getting my strength back.
DeleteWell, if you're gonna post a picture of Jeanie and sumdood in an Air Force uniform, here's another suggestion:

Still looks good to boot.

DeleteMy favorite was her costumes in the two parter in Rawhide. Skimpy costume and driving small railroad car, nice pose.
