A Little Help In The Paddock Today...

"Koolie",  decided to offer some help.  He's an older thoroughbred and ain't the sharpest knife in the

drawer.  His owner has nicknamed him "Joe". So now we call him Joe or Mr President.

  1. Horses are fairly bright animals. When kept in a paddock they get bored. They will p!ay with just about anything when they are bored. It's even more pronounced if there are no other horses to interact with. They are very social animals when in the wild. So interactions are important to their health both mental and physical.

    1. Hi Dan, Koolie has a partner in crime named Charlie. They are in one area and 2 others are in a different fenced area. We have 4 horses total. I agree , they definitely get bored. You can tell when they get rambunctious.

  2. Hey Dan, you should see the video Irish showed me one time when he went out and whistled for the horses. Koolie and Charlie came running around the corner like big dogs.
    It's hilarious.

  3. That can't be the president. He is not trying to use the rake to take in more of our tax money.

  5. Grew up in Colorado with horses. Have always loved them. They are every bit as good and loyal a pet as any dog. Now I live in Nevada...on several acres of high desert. Am lucky enough to have wild horses visit the property on a regular basis. They are wary but they've come to accept the wife and I as we simply sit on our patio in nice weather and talk to them. It's fun to watch the interactions between them as they vie for position in the pecking order. Sadly we get assholes from Kali who move here, plant grass and plants IN THE DESERT and then complain to BLM assholes when's they horses assume those planets are food. If BLM gets ANY complaints at all they use that as an excuse to round up as many of the horses as they can. A handful get adopted to private buyers. Most get turned into glue or sold to Asia as horse meat...which the Japs love. Another reason I detest Kali assholes.
