    1. If Sondra Locke was still alive she would disagree. He went out of his way to screw her over.

    3. she got what she wanted, a couple of movies, and not being very talented, she got passed over in Hollywood. I'm sure she didn't want that but Mr. Eastwood can't be blamed for that.

    1. Mr. & Mrs. Walker and Mr. & Mrs. Black also named their sons Clint.

    2. Clinton is maybe odd to some, but I had a cousin named Burton, although I always knew him as Leroy. Who names their kids some of those names football players have?

  4. Do you feel lucky,,,,,,,,punk? Yes, and blessed, to have lived and witness that body of work. Now I’m concerned he will make another great one and I will miss it due to, Trouble with the curve.

    2. Master Diver, I'm going to schedule an appointment. I made myself a solemn promise that once I got out of the Navy, I was never standing in line again.

    4. I've seen and enjoyed every one of Clint's movies multiple times except Every Which Way But Loose. I didn't like that one. One of the stupidest movies ever made IMHO.

Saw an anecdote a while back about an interaction between Clint and his son Scott where Scott was asking why he wasn't cast in more of Cljnt's movies. Clint's reply: "Ya gotta earn it boy."

    1. Hi Irish ..inreply to "any-mouse!! abut "Rowdy!!!,"
YES!! 21inch "Black and White" TV before tht "COLOR SHIT" took over!! Clint as Rowdy... I was in Jr. High School at the time!!! late 50's-early 60's... Have to flip thru my "Rolladex!!!!" I'm 80 years old now and I have to sort thru it all!!!! But the bitch is I can still Remember!!!!!!! Some say it is a "Blessing!!!"..... Most of the time I think it is a "Curse!!!!" Because the people involved in the "Bad Stuff" if they are still alive.... can't remember ... so I live with the "Memory!!!"
But I thank the Eternal for giving me this "ability" ...... for I can forgive them even though they don't remember!!!!

    2. I'm sure someone in Hollywood thought it would be great to cast Eastwood and Burt Reynolds together while lacking any real character development, dialog, or plot.

  10. I'm reading 'CLINT' right now by Shawn Levy. A good book so far. Steve McQueen was the "King of Cool", but Clint Eastwood is "The MAN"!

Thank you, Mr Eastwood, for all the entertainment.

  13. Hard to see him as 95 and in a wheelchair.
Just like The Duke, I'll only think of him in his prime.
