  5. I was there last night, checking out the Reds for the week.
The Wayback Machine doesn't even list the last two weeks of content from BOM.
I can't recall anything that was the least bit offensive. Not that it matters anymore.
All it takes is one outraged sanctimonious cunt to get the vapors and years worth of work and effort is gone.

First they took out Chief Nosewetter, now Odysseus.
Every week they are trying to take out Firehand at Irons in the Fire for his DATA posts.
Too bad they weren't this proficient at removing pedophiles and kiddy-porn.
But then what would Demoncrats have to look at on the web?
    Dirty bastards!

  7. Can't imagine Odysseus taking it down voluntarily or w/o a farewell. A harmless blog all the way.

    1. Per the man on the "Bored Yet" webcast a week or so ago, the Lawdogfiles blog has been running at a hosting company that offered a 'perpetual' tier of hosting. One payment and done. Now the hosting company wants 'perpetual' tier sites to pay monthly. LD is pursuing his options to gain access to the blog and move it.

  9. The only way to be sure your voice is heard is to have your own website and not rely on Blogger or WordPress.....and even that is no guarantee you won't face censorship. And self hosting is not inexpensive.

    1. Dive Medic set up his own server in Eastern Europe, his prices aren't bad if you host with him.

    2. Stop using Google. Seriously. Every two-bit hack of a blogger uses...blogger...which is owned by Google.

While DM pisses me off by locking threads he disagrees with on his own blog, his platform is different. He takes a pretty libertarian approach to hosting blogs. If I recall correctly, it's basically "no porn" because that brings in the hackers and bots. His platform is hosted outside the US.

While it isn't bulletproof hosting, it's far from being Google.

Consider switching to his platform. His blog is here: https://areaocho.com/
I'm sure you can find a way to reach him to transfer your blog.

  10. I checked his site a couple times every day. I read it yesterday morning but it was gone in the evening. I don't get how a hosting company can unilaterally destroy someone's site.

  12. I actually had his last post up in a tab - Dec 3. I'd occasionally refresh, but nothing new. Then yesterday (Dec 12) I got the blog removed page. So I wonder what was going on for 10 days. Did something happen to him personally?

  15. This is the empire striking out in a last gasp before Trump & Co. take over and dismantle the censorship apparatus that has been in place for the last sixteen years. The bad news is that now that they've conditioned all of big tech to self determine what is good or bad, in their view, it may/probably will take on a life of its own as we have witnessed with various sites being deplatformed over the last 16 years or so. Gagme has been on board the censorship train with gusto since the concept was broached under Obutthface.

Remember, this whole censorship BS took off when Obuttface was installed in 2009 because he couldn't stand to be criticized. That thin skinned holier than thou communist azzhole has been responsible directly and indirectly for much of the malfeasance that has existed in .gov for a decade and a half with a brief respite when Trump was elected in 2016. Even when Trump was in office they carried on with their nefarious ways by impeaching him twice over not an affg thing and being lied to constantly by his staff of DC swamp rats. My only hope is that the latest Trump & Co. puts Obuttface, Hitlery, Bribem, Kerry, that sanctimonious f*ck Milley and others IN JAIL where they belong for the rest of their lives. Probably isn't going to happen, but I hold out hope. At this point, even one of them going to jail would be a victory.
