Wolverines....

It is a muscular carnivore and a solitary animal. The wolverine has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size, with the documented ability to kill prey many times larger than itself.

  2. Yeah . . . had wunnadose in high school back in the 50s. Tough kid named Mike -- 5' 2" and mean as hell. Never got an inch taller by the time he was 18. And VERY Irish.

Thoroughly enjoyed knockin the complete hell outta guys MUCH bigger and older than he was for nothin more than lookin at him -- OR one of his sisters -- the wrong way.

Coupla big farm guys got tired of his merde, tied him up with bailing twine, put him in the ladies' restroom under the seats in the baseball field . . . IN NOVEMBER, in central Indiana . . . and shut the door.

He later found them each alone and beat one of 'em damned near to death. I spoke gently and courteously to him, if at all. I was also very well-behaved around his sisters, some of whom were very desirable, but hazardous, kinda like nitroglycerin.

    1. Had one of those assholes like Mike in my high school...He beat a lot of people just because.

At one point a bunch of people surrounded him and beat the shit out of him, then beat him some more.
He was less volatile after that, and didn't beat on people just because, only for a reason.
He was still mean bastard, but he wasn't quite so much of an asshole after the crowd beat him damned near halfway to death.
It's how you deal with a bully.

  4. In 1967, Polish mercenary Rafal Ganowicz was asked what it felt like to take human life, "I wouldn't know, I've only ever killed Communists."

  7. Sad to realize that both the actors in that pic (Powers Booth and Patrick Swayze) have passed. I remember watching that movie in the theater with a couple of my buddies--that was forty years ago. How time flies.

    1. The word "gulo" in Pilipino (Tagalog) means "trouble" or "dangerously confused). "Gulo-gulo" doubles down on that and becomes "chaotic" or "thoroughly messed up."

The verb for all that is "manggulo" which means "to stir up some shit" or "fuck somethin up."

Seems to fit the overgrown weasel.

    2. for reference..."Infiltrators came up illegal from Mexico"....

Col. Andy Tanner: [Describing the invasion on a crude diorama on the ground] West Coast. East Coast. Down here is Mexico. First wave of the Soviet attack came in disguised as commercial charter flights the same way they did in Afghanistan back in December of 1979. Only these were crack Airborne paratroop outfits. Now, they took these mountain passes along here in the Rockies.
Jed Eckert: So, that's what hit Calumet?
Col. Andy Tanner: I guess so. They coordinated with selective nuke strikes and the missiles were a hell of a lot more accurate than we thought. They took out the silos here in the Dakotas, and key points of communication.
      Darryl Bates: Like what?
Col. Andy Tanner: Oh, like Omaha, Washington DC, Kansas City.
      Darryl Bates: Gone?
Col. Andy Tanner: Yeah. That's right. Infiltrators came up illegal from Mexico. Cubans mostly. They managed to infiltrate SAC bases in the Midwest, several down in Texas and wreaked a hell of a lot of havoc, I'm here to tell you. They opened up the door down here, and the whole Cuban and Nicaraguan and Latin American armies come walking right through, rolled right up here through the Great Plains.
Robert: How far did they get?
Col. Andy Tanner: Cheyenne, Wyoming... across to Kansas. We held them at the Rockies and the Mississippi River. Anyway, the Russians reinforced with 60 divisions. Sent three whole army groups across the Bering Strait into Alaska, cut the pipeline, came down across Canada to link up here in the middle, but we stopped their butt cold here. The lines have pretty much stabilized now.
      Robert: What about Europe?
Col. Andy Tanner: I guess they figured twice in one century was enough. They're sitting this one out. All except England, and they won't last very long.

  13. Is it me? Or is everyone misinterpreting the meaning of this post. It's probably me. We're about there. And if Trump gets re-elected, which has to happen, we are there in spades. The left will go nuts. They're already dispersing violent radical teams across the country. This time supposedly in conservative areas. In short, I wouldn't take time to celebrate a Trump victory. You better be preparing for what comes next. WOLVERINES!!!!!!
