with a king bed the dogs can sleep with you, my queen is rated for 2 people and 2dogs or cats. Like anon 9:06 says, too much clutter, my old broken butt would have a hard time getting on though my old 3 legged dog would have it easier.

Or a griddle. That would work. I'd put a coffee maker and a beer tap where the radio speakers are.
