I saw her perform in a night club when she was 60. She had a 45 minute act where she sang, told jokes about Bob Hope, danced, and made fun of Hollywood & Washington DC. Fifteen minutes after her act she was out working the crowd. I was tounuge tied when she stopped by my table. She and Raquel were two women that were beautiful their entire lives.
I remember every Christmas watching the Bob Hope Special and his overseas tours. Watching this clip of the service MEN and WOMEN almost makes me sad knowing what the current state of our military is like today. I can't imagine what these service men and women think of our (lack) of leadership today... and how they wish the USO will not bring their trans clown act to them...
