  1. A spring mess for the Lakes region. A lot of heavy wet snow to deal with.

Be careful of the backs, the hearts (plenty of heart attacks in shoveling) and slips and broken bones.

  2. It’s snowing here in northeast Connecticut, temps in the low thirties and gusts about 40+MPH

  3. In Cortland County we got barely a trace, thank you God. I'm pretty much done with winter.

  6. Woke up to 2 to 2.5" of semifrozen sleet this AM. It's currently snowing lightly as I write, just as forecast. What an effed up winter this has been.

  7. Looks like it's going be SE Maine's "Nor-eastah" through that forecast loop.

Our central Florida forecast is pretty much the same as FrankP's NE Texas forecast.

    1. Biden's Groundhog Day is seeing if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow when he pokes his head out of Buttigieg's ass.

    2. As "Mayor Pete" is from South "Bendover" Indiana, I doubt Pete has gotten his head out of "Phil's" ass.
Central Indiana, overcast, windy in the lower to mid 40's.

In the 40s after a few days of 70s, this is why you have the right gear and don't put it up too soon.

  11. The 18" we had ten days ago had just melted away. We are getting resupplied just in the nic of time , 12" already and still dropping. With a power outage as a bonus f.u. Oxford County, Maine

    1. That's a predictable pattern. I hunt ducks and I'm a bass fisherman. We had 4 years of this exact weather pattern in the early 2000. We had bass spawning then in late February.

  13. Northern Alberta we had 3-4 inches of rain and its plus 10C today... Thats 50F.

We'll have 2 or 3 more snow storms before winter ends May 21st. But i'm enjoying the warm weather this week. Standing on a tower about 170ft in the air to get cell reception at work

  15. It would be wrong to wish that cyclonic action would intensify to the world's first F6 tornado, but if there had to be one, somewhere, well...

  16. We had 9 inches of wet snow, lost (still out) power at 5AM Thursday. Just hooked up the generator, so I have heat & light again - and snowblew my paths, so time for a hot shower & kick back. A bit stiff & sore, but not bad for an old guy with 2 metal hips. :-)

  17. Just got power back here in NH after massive wet snow dump on Thursday. Trees down everywhere. Linemen don't get paid enough for the work they do.
