1977, Eugene Oregon The Grateful Dead, Santana, Eddy Money and somebody I should remember. The line for the concert was the greatest freak show on earth. The Dead sucked and thousands walked out, myself included.
I was and remain a Dead Head; however, I decided somewhere way back when that it was time to grow up and get a job and wound up with a career. Still love the Dead, miss Jerry and I miss Dead shows - best concerts & road trips ever.
This. My first show was Telluride in '87 and from then until Jerry died we eagerly awaited the summer tour schedule so we could get back on the road for a couple months between shit jobs.
More funny shit right there
ReplyDeleteThe problem is she's now only 53...
