On January 9, students at James Madison High School in Brooklyn discovered that they would be spending the next two days in front of their computer screens learning from home. But it wasn’t the usual winter weather causing this cancellation of in-person classes – instead, it was because the city of New York was planning to move nearly 2,000 illegal migrants from their encampment and resettle them at the school, displacing the students.
The move prompted understandable outrage from parents and recriminations from local officials who pleaded helplessness. What were they supposed to do? Allow the migrants to freeze to death in the coming storm? In a single cold evening in New York City, one example illustrated the bankruptcy of two decades of liberal discourse on immigration.
When history is written, the decision of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who was widely mocked by the mainstream media when he announced it in 2021, to bus migrants from the border into blue-state sanctuary cities may be remembered as one of the most momentous in modern history. It was definitely among the most politically clever.

No sympathy for those forced out of their school. They voted for this. If elections were held today, not one single democrat would be voted out of office. As Pelosi so snidely said "elections have consequences."

a study was done in NY showing the majority of voters are not alive. i saw this study a few years ago, but i doubt if anything was done to update the voter lists,
DeleteOne giant problem of sending illegals to this blue hell holes, they will count them for population numbers and get more Congressmen which equals more power. So not the happy ending we want, they will be bankrupt and have the power to bail themselves out by robbing everyone else.

ReplyDeleteNow they're again back to "We have to keep .gov open, so we HAVE TO COMPROMISE on immigration(read that as accede to all the Demonrat demands on the border and immigration #'s).
The question is why? Over the last 20 years, DC has done nothing in recent memory to make American lives better, except during the four years 2017-2020 when regulations and other absurdities were cut to the bone and the southern invasion mostly stopped, except for the usual "got aways" that went through the desert, instead of through a border crossing.
There is no reason to be paying for government that is continually bending us over and screwing us on a daily basis. At every turn, government is the problem, as Ronnie Raygun said.
Oh, then "we'll have to stop paying the military for our defense, the country will be "unprotected" is the Demonrat boolchit lament. That's exactly the wrong tactic to garner support because accommodations can be made to pay service members. The people that really NEED to go unpaid are the deep state traitors at the Eff Bee Eye, Dee Ohh Jay, Eye Are Ess; Dept's of Ed, Energy, State WH Staff, etc ad infinitum. They don't like having to work (not that they work all that hard except for thinking up ways to eff us over and download porn) and not be paid? Here's clue:
GO FIND A JOB IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR THAT'LL PUT UP WITH YOUR BOOLCHIT.
Once a budget bill is passed, they get all of the back pay that they supposedly "lost" anyway, so who's boolchitting who.
Let's stop funding our own demise. Close the government until the border is closed with a 3000 mile long fence with intrusion detectors and with no doors in it that can welded open and until the fence is finished.
Oh, people that own property on both sides of the border will be disposed? Buy their property and make a lump sum payment for their lost income for 20 years. That'll be cheaper than feeding, clothing, housing and educating 10M additional illegal aliens every year for as far as you can see into the future.
As to the simpering Demonrats that are lamenting their self declared "sanctuary" status: sucks to be you. Elections that declare asinine social policies have consequences. No sympathy.

I have visions of Joey being lured to the border with tales of young girls and plenty of ice cream shoppes. Once there, he is greeted by Gov. Abbott who promptly has the county sheriff arrest him and throw his sorry ass into a Texas jail where none of the prisoners speak English. Then I wake up. Shucks.
