This red tailed hawk tried to feast on the kitten, but the windshield got inbetween.[Gabriel M, Los Angeles, December 28, 2024]pic.twitter.com/R8l6AxeQTq— Massimo (@Rainmaker1973) December 31, 2023

The Hawk said, "next Time Fluffy".
That reminds me why I hate birds.
I'll second that. Same here, hate birds, especially geese. Bear in Indy
An owl was on final to snatch a rabbit when I came onto the scene. The rabbit went under the truck as the owl went missed.Another time, a mountain lion was about to pounce on a cub black bear when I drove between the two. The lion had veered away to avoid being hit. Both of these were in same place. I guess its where the animal highway intersected the human highway. Pretty cool to see.
When I searched Google Earth for Slauson Ave. only one came up. It's right smack in the middle of L.A. Must be pretty good hunting there, as in lots of cats.
I would've gotten out of the car to beat the crap out of that bird.
Sorry folks but predators have to eat too. It is an awful cute kitten , my wife would have cried if it got hurt.
Laws of nature are the fairest of all as will soon be demonstrated on a mass scale
Yep
Second that "Yep!"
That's one embarrassed-looking hawk.
I have a feeling he's just a young 'un, learning the ropes.
My windshield is that clean for maybe 20 mins. after I wash the car....CC
