Hurricane Lee.. Eleventy!! Might Go Over Cat 5 Run.....

At least that was what I was seeing for info during the week.

Here is a link to WINDY weather that shows a track westword to the eastcoast then a turn

Northward.  Bermuda could be in trouble based on the long term look.

FWIW  Irish.

  1. The job of today's media is to make the public afraid of every event possible. A possible Cat 5 or 10 hurricane is just more proof of Globull Warming. East Coast MAY get some strong winds, waves and rain, but the storm is headed out to sea and will disrupt shipping and as you said, maybe Bermuda.

  2. Hurricane Lee is not a Cat5. Sustained winds at 10m above sea level are 75-85mph. What they are doing is using wind speeds at 1500m to 3000m altitude to justify it as Cat 5, and even then the winds at that altitude are barely breaking Cat3. Since the Hurricane season thus far has been a nothingburger they are hyping every storm.
Idalia was not a Cat3 at sea level. It was barely a Cat1 hurricane. Several residents in the Big Bend have been documenting the damage and it's consistent with Cat1 winds at sea level. Mainly downed trees, some roof damage, and storm surge damage to coastal roads. Even the storm surge was less than expected because Idalia made land fall in low tide. This is all hyped up to support the sham narrative that globull warming is making monster storms when there is ZERO evidence to support it.
Also, for real-time weather data, check ventusky.com. Zoom in on Lee and select wind speed at 10m. Also change it to 5000m and 9000m and zoom out to see the upper level jet streams. These are good predictors of hurricane paths.
I live on the gulf coast of Florida so hurricane preps are paramount, but I also don't want to skedaddle for no reason. Thus far Ventusky has been 100% on target and a huge help to make good decisions regarding hurricanes and if NOAA and the various weather organizations have been truthful in their reporting.

  4. I had read a hurricane named Lee may threaten Wash D.C. The South will rise again! Hurrah!

  5. I'm surprised none the true believers have called the storm racist. They'll probably try to knock it off its pedestal.

  6. No Atlantic governors are in the sights of the Deep State, so they'll leave this one alone.

  7. The official NHC numbers at 5pm this evening are Cat 3 at 115 mph. Yesterday it went from 165 mph at 5 AM to 115 mph at 11PM (both are the times forecast was released).

Yesterday, YouTubers looking for clicks were screaming because the day before it went from Cat 3 (130 mph) to Cat 5 (that 165) in 12 hours. Not one clickbait that I saw today said a word about going from Cat 5 down to 3 in one day.

Volchek - I've always thought using 10m was too high because very little around here (east central coast of Florida) is built that high.

  11. OK, question: if Lee arrives to flush all BS out of New York, is that a GOOD thing?
